Unhealthy meal deals will be restricted in Wales under new legislation due to be introduced next year.
Sandwich, snack and drink combos with fat, sugar or salt contents above the recommended daily amount will face being banned by the Welsh government under the proposals.
Aimed at tacking obesity, the new rules will be passed next year before coming into force in 2025.
Similar moves have been delayed by England and Scotland over concerns of restricting offerings in shops during a time of high prices.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak argued households had a right to choose among a range of goods while budgets were squeezed earlier this month, with the rules targeting deals which save consumers money by buying specific products together.
New rules in Wales will also prevent shops from temporarily lowering prices on the unhealthiest products and ask retailers not to promote certain items next to checkouts and at aisle ends.
This will attempt to prevent consumers from buying goods high in fat, sugar or salt on impulse, the government said, with the rules applying to businesses which employ more than 50 workers.
