CULT Food Science Corp (CSE:CULT, OTCQB:CULTF) told investors that portfolio company Eat Just, Inc’s cultivated meat division GOOD Meat and UPSIDE Foods have received approval from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) to sell cell-cultivated meat in the United States.
The company said the landmark approval represents a significant milestone for the entire cultivated meat industry and the global food system.
It noted that GOOD Meat was the first company to sell cultivated meat in the world and the clearance to introduce it to American consumers marks a major step forward in reshaping the future of food.

“These approvals show that the technology fundamentals remain sound and that the production of cell-cultivated foods remains consistent, safe, reliable, and reproducible. This milestone is an important indicator for every company in the space.”
