Accesso Technology chief: VGS deal 'significantly enhances our presence'

Accesso Technology Group PLC (AIM:ACSO, OTC:LOQPF)'s $38.5 million acquisition of VGS, a ticketing and visitor management platform, positions the company to significantly enhance its global presence, particularly in the Middle East and Asia, according to Steve Brown, CEO of Accesso, in an interview with Proactive's Thomas Warner.

VGS, whose clients include the world's leading theme park destination located in Orlando, enables Accesso to make considerable inroads in markets where its presence had been minimal.

With offices in Singapore and Dubai, the acquisition presents material opportunities for Accesso, enhancing its capability to explore growth prospects in these regions.

Brown highlighted the importance of preserving VGS's successful business model and culture during integration.

He expressed his excitement at the prospect of unlocking the abundant growth opportunities offered by VGS, and stressed his intention to "protect the processes they have in place" and "run very lean".

The CEO also hinted at a pause in acquisition activities for a while to successfully integrate the new business, terming these processes as "very intense". However, he left the door open for further deals if interesting opportunities come along.

This acquisition marks the second significant one for Accesso this year, following the earlier acquisition of Paradocs, underscoring a strong year for the company.
