AmeraMex completes final shipment of large equipment order to Texas port; shares rise

AmeraMex International (OTCQB:AMMX) said it has completed the final shipment of a large equipment order to a port in Texas with the company expecting to receive additional orders before the end of June.

Shares of the company moved higher following the announcement, up 11.6% at US$0.26 at noon.

AmeraMex said the final piece of equipment from the initial order is a $300,000 Taylor Equipment forklift.

The forklift has a 45,000-pound capacity that will be used to off-load steel coils weighing more than 40,000 pounds each from the holds in a ship, it added.

“The company expects an order for additional large-capacity forklifts before the end of the month,” noted AmeraMex CEO Lee Hamre in a statement.

“In addition, there will also be an order for a Hyster Double Reach Narrow Isle electric forklift capable of stacking material pallets to over 20 feet in height.”

AmeraMex sells, leases and rents heavy equipment to companies within multiple industries including construction, logistics, mining and lumber.
