Live Company appoints new auditors with immediate effect

Live Company Group PLC (AIM:LVCG) said it has appointed MHA - an independent member of Baker Tilly International - as the firm's new auditors with immediate effect.

The company's outgoing auditors, Kingston Smith, have confirmed that there are no matters connected with their resignation which should be brought to the attention of the new auditors, members or creditors of the company.

Live Company pointed out that whilst the audit preparation for the financial statements to 31 December 2022 has been ongoing, the accounts are unlikely to be published by 30 June 2023, as required by the AIM listing Rules. Accordingly, under AIM Rule 40, the exchange will suspend trading in the company's shares with effect from 7.30am on 3 July 2023.

In a statement, Live Company chairman David Ciclitira commented: "I am delighted to welcome MHA onboard and expect that the June accounts will be published by the end of July. We are now able to look forward to updating our shareholders on a webinar to be announced shortly."

The company said it has engaged additional resources to ensure the publication of its financial statements by 31 July 2023.
