TRX Gold (TSX:TNX, NYSE-A:TRX) CEO Stephen Mullowney joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has released new preliminary data from bulk sample testing at the Buckreef Gold mine. Over 6,500 tonnes of sulphide ore have been put through Buckreef Gold’s existing milling facility.
Mullowney telling Proactive the results so far have been good with gold recovery of 88.7%. The company says this very significant considering 90% of Gold at Buckreef is held in sulphide material. The Company has also recently completed an upgrade to its crushing system which has contributed to the successful recovery rates. Mullowney also shared with Proactive a preview of the company’s Q3 financial results which looks is heading towards production of 4,764 ounces of gold and sales of 4,810 ounces of gold. Financial numbers are expected to be released in July.
