Boohoo said it will vote against the reappointment of senior members at Revolution Beauty Group, where it holds a roughly 26.6% stake.
In a statement, the online retailer said it will vote against the reappointment of CEO Bob Holt, non-executive chairman Derek Zissman and CFO Elizabeth Lake on 27 June.
In addition, boohoo has also requisitioned a general meeting to propose the removal of the above-mentioned directors, as well as appoint Alistair McGeorge and Neil Catto.
McGeorge, if appointed, is expected to serve as interim executive chairman while Catto will serve as CFO.
Boohoo said it expects the reconstituted board to undertake a rigorous process to appoint additional independent directors.
“In light of this, boohoo has also requested that the existing board of Revolution Beauty does not proceed to appoint Rachel Maguire and Matthew Eatough as directors,” it said.
