Baron Oil PLC (AIM:BOIL) was seen nearly 8% higher on Monday afternoon after the AIM-quoted oil and gas exploration and appraisal company announced the proposed appointment of Dr Andrew (Andy) Butler to the board of the company as director of Asia Pacific.
“Andy has over 27 years of experience in the oil and gas sector and will bring relevant expertise to the company's board,” the company stated.
Baron Oil’s shares were changing hands at 0.11p with a market capitalisation of £19.6mln as of 2pm, June 19.
