Games Workshop expects full-year revenues and profits to grow

Games Workshop Group PLC (LSE:GAW) has said it expects its revenues and profits to grow in the year 28 May 2023.

In a trading update, the board game manufacturer and retailer said it expects revenues to be no less than £440mln, up from £387mln the year prior, while pre-tax profits are estimated to be no less than £170mln compared to £157mln 12 months earlier.

Licensing income, however, is expected to fall by about £3mln to £25mln.

Games Workshop said it has paid roughly £11mln in cash payments to staff, up from £10mln in recognition of their contribution to these results.

In total, the company paid £136mln in dividends in the year at 415p per share, compared to £93mln at 285p per share.
