Ondo InsurTech PLC (LSE:ONDO)’s leak detection technology, Leakbot, has been chosen for a one-month pilot programme by G4S (LSE:GFS) to test a marketing model for home security in Denmark.
G4S (LSE:GFS), acquired by Allied Universal in 2021, will offer free Leakbots in collaboration with an insurance partner, said to be one of Denmark’s largest insurers, to encourage households to take up the offer of an in-home security visit.
A provider of smart alarm systems with more than 70,000 active Danish users, G4S acquires customers through collaboration with insurance companies to generate sales leads for in-home security visits.
If successful, the "Free LeakBot" offer will be marketed to this insurer's customers at scale, becoming a key part of G4S Shield's activities in Denmark, Ondo said.
Craig Foster, Ondo chief executive, said: "This is an interesting test of a new route to market, with a potential opportunity to expand our reach in Denmark with one of the largest Danish insurance companies through G4S, who already have a significant presence in the Danish market.”
