AmeraMex International (OTCQB:AMMX) Inc revealed that it has received an order valued at $729,000 for three new power-operated Taylor Forklifts from a northern California sawmill company.
Chico, California-based AmeraMex which leases and sells new and refurbished heavy equipment, said two of the forklifts will be shipped by the end of June to its California-based customer. The third forklift will go out before the end of August this year to the sawmill company.
The power-operated Taylor Forklift is an industrial vehicle that has steel fingers, or a forked platform at the front that can be raised and lowered by hydraulics to lift and move heavy objects over short distances. It was developed in the early 20th Century and is popular in various industries like warehouses, storage facilities, and distribution centers.
Forklifts are mainly used to carry heavy loads across long distances of varying terrain, said AmeraMex, adding that they are useful for projects that require lots of materials in various places and reduce the time and effort needed to lift, carry, and transport materials.
AmeraMex has over 30 years of experience in heavy equipment sales and service. The company has three defined business units: Hamre Equipment, Hamre Heavy Haul, and Hamre Parts and Service.
The company also buys used equipment and ships it to its refurbishing facility in Northern California, which renovates millions of dollars’ worth of used equipment.
