Royal Helium Ltd (TSX-V:RHC, OTCQB:RHCCF) announced that it has awarded the remaining site installation contracts for its Steveville helium processing facility.
The company selected Vise Energy Services as the lead mechanical contractor with Medallion Energy Services as the lead electrical and instrumentation contractor.
Royal previously contracted Broersen Construction and DFI Piling for the lease construction and civil works, which is nearing completion, the company said. Next, the company will be ready for the delivery of the five main process skids and six minor skids by Rangeland Trucking and Cranes.
Meanwhile, Campus Energy Partners has been contracted to provide engineering, procurement, construction and management for the midstream pipeline services. The 12-12 well to facility pipeline has already been completed and the 10-22 well to facility pipeline has been tested and is near completion.
"The Steveville Facility fabrication and construction project is on track to be completed and onstream in 3Q of this year,” said John Styles, Royal’s lead engineer. “We, along with Obsidian Engineering are very pleased with the coordinated effort and quality of the preparation and construction work at site which will be ongoing through July to be followed by Arjae and contractors Vise and Medallion to commission and startup the plant."
Royal’s Steveville helium processing plant is designed to process 15 million cubic feet per day of raw gas fed by the two 100% owned helium wells at Steveville, Alberta and produce 22,000 mcf (thousand cubic feet) of 99.999% helium per year.
Royal Helium controls over one million acres of prospective helium land across southern Saskatchewan and southeastern Alberta. All of Royal's lands are in close vicinity to highways, roads, cities and importantly, close to existing oil and gas infrastructure, with a significant portion of its land near existing helium-producing locations. The firm intends to become a leading North American producer of the high-value commodity.
