Futura Medical PLC (AIM:FUM, OTC:FAMDF) Executive Director and Head of R&D Ken James speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive after announcing that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the over-the-counter marketing of the company's innovative topical gel for erectile dysfunction (ED).
James says the company feels "confident" in its ability to find commercial partners in the US following the news, adding that a number of such conversations are currently "ongoing".
Additionally, longstanding investors Lombard Odier Asset Management has chosen to exercise warrants, providing Futura Medical with an additional cash injection of £4 million.
