Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC (AIM:IHC) has announced the appointment of Alan Olby as its new chief financial officer and a director effective immediately.
The company noted that Olby brings with him a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on finance and operations in fast-growing listed and private healthcare companies.
Olby spent 16 years at Sinclair Pharma, where he served as CFO and played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a global leader in aesthetics. His efforts led to the successful sale of Sinclair Pharma to Huadong Medicine Co Ltd for £165 mln in 2018. During his tenure, Olby oversaw multiple capital raises and strategic mergers and acquisitions, including the disposal of non-core business to Alliance Pharma for £132mln in 2015. Prior to his role at Sinclair Pharma, he held positions such as group financial controller of Xenova Group and KS Biomedix.
