Allergy Therapeutics PLC (AIM:AGY, OTC:AGYTF) has said it will be presenting key scientific findings from its research portfolio at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Hybrid Congress, held in Hamburg, Germany from 9-11 June 2023.
The EAACI Congress is the world's largest scientific conference focused on allergy and clinical immunology, and it brings together thousands of professionals dedicated to improving the health of individuals affected by allergic diseases.
Allergy Therapeutics will present nine posters, including clinical and preclinical studies on biomarker strategies, patient responses, and the mechanism of action of allergy immunotherapies. Notably, the data includes findings from the G309 exploratory field study, which evaluated the efficacy and safety of the group's short-course subcutaneous allergen-specific immunotherapy (SCIT) candidate for grass pollen-induced allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. These findings supported the ongoing pivotal Phase III Grass MATA MPL G306 trial, with interim safety and efficacy data expected in Q4 2023.
The company will also share preclinical data on its virus-like particle (VLP) based peanut allergy vaccine candidate, as well as studies on allergenic venom homology, an area in which the group is actively engaged commercially.
Furthermore, Allergy Therapeutics will host a hybrid symposium titled 'SCIT; pioneering a new era', chaired by Professor Dr Ludger Klimek, which will cover venom immunotherapy, biomarker strategies in allergy immunotherapy, and an analysis of the VLP Peanut PROTECT study.

The company also revealed that the results from the completed G309 exploratory field trial, focusing on Grass MATA MPL, have been accepted for publication in the official journal of the EAACI, Allergy. Professor Mohamed Shamji from Imperial College London will provide an overview of the publication during a dedicated session at the EAACI congress.
