HealthLynked (OTCQB:HLYK) Corp said it is rolling out major updates to its HealthLynked (OTCQB:HLYK) app.
The updates are each meant to streamline communication between users and their healthcare providers, according to a statement, while also ensuring the utmost security.
The first new feature is an online nurse chat capability, which offers immediate, real-time communications and aids in profile setup. There is also secure, direct communication between patients and medical practices done through the app.
Additionally, an integrated health journal empowers users to document their health-related experiences and goals, the company said, which improves transparency between patients and healthcare providers.
"Our users' health journey is our priority," CEO Michael Dent said in a statement. "This latest update to the HealthLynked (OTCQB:HLYK) app is a testament to our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions. By equipping our users with personalized tools and enhanced functionalities, we aim to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers, ultimately fostering more informed and efficient healthcare decisions."

In addition to the new features, the design of HealthLynked’s app itself has been overhauled, the company said. Non-members can even make appointments through the revamped app on a 30-day free trial.
In terms of security, the app now has a facial biometric login feature, designed to ensure that sensitive health information remains secure while still being accessible.
