Oxford Metrics shares up 11% as it eyes forecast-busting full-year performance

Oxford Metrics (AIM:OMG) PLC shares jumped 11% following a strong six-month performance - one that put it on track to exceed full-year expectations.

The smart sensing software firm recorded its strongest-ever half-year revenue at £21.3mln, a 70% increase from the previous year.

The company also posted a 1,263% rise in adjusted profit before tax, reaching £4.1mln.

CEO Nick Bolton expressed delight at the results, attributing the performance to buoyant demand across all market segments.

The firm, backed by a healthy order book of £22mln, is optimistic about the second half. It said continues to invest organically in its product offerings and is actively seeking acquisitions.

At 9.21 am, the shares were changing hands for 108.54p, up 11.04p.
