Less than a month after tapping Linda Yaccarino to replace him as twitter CEO, Elon Musk has brought another NBCUniversal executive into the fold.
Senior executive Joe Benarroch, starting Monday, will take on a role focusing on business operations, according to reports.
On Twitter, Benarroch said he is looking forward to helping “build Twitter 2.0.” Yaccarino has also already used the platform to welcome him aboard.
Thank you @lindayacc! I am looking forward to partnering with the entire team and the industry to build @Twitter 2.0 together! Let’s make history! https://t.co/uHJfE08Z5L

At NBCUniversal, Benarroch served as the executive vice president for communications, advertising and partnerships, where he reported to Yaccarino. He also spent time working at Facebook earlier in his career.
Meanwhile, Twitter has dealt with high-profile resignations in recent days. On Thursday, Twitter head of trust and safety Ella Irwin announced her resignation, and head of brand safety and ad quality AJ Brown decided to leave a day later.
