Greencoat UK Wind PLC (LSE:UKW) notified the stock market that its non-executive director Jim Smith has purchased 100,000 shares in the company.
Smith bought the shares in three transactions, at an average price of 149.48648p, for a total of just over £149,486. The deals took place on 1 June and 2 June.
Smith, described as a renewable energy industry veteran, was formerly managing director of SSE Renewables and joined Greencoat in the non-executive board role in May. He has 34 years of experience in the electricity industry and has overseen over 5GW of projects through financial close.
