ANGLE makes two key appointments to help deliver 'strategic and commercial objectives'

ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY), the developer of the Parsortix liquid biopsy, has enhanced its executive roster with two key appointments: Brett Swansiger as chief commercial officer (CCO) and Karen Miller as chief scientific officer (CSO).

Both bring with them significant industry experience that it is hoped will help the group deliver its "strategic and commercial objectives".

Swansiger has two decades in business development within the molecular diagnostic and pharmaceutical sectors with DxTerity Diagnostics, Bristol Myers Squibb, Prometheus Laboratories, Agendia and MDxHealth.

Miller, meanwhile, has spent 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry, working in drug discovery, clinical development and cancer-focused molecular analysis.

Her most recent role was as CSO of the cell therapies group, Ixaka. Before that, she held senior positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:VRTX), UCB Pharma, GlaxoSmithKline and Adaptimmune.

ANGLE chief executive Andrew Newland said: "I am delighted to be able to welcome these two highly accomplished individuals to the ANGLE management team.

"Brett and Karen bring valuable skills and networks that will play a key role in helping us deliver on our strategic and commercial objectives. I look forward to working closely with them as we continue to build commercial momentum."
