AuKing Mining appointment adds extensive business and investment network to its board

AuKing Mining Ltd (ASX:AKN) has appointed Zuliang (Park) Wei as a new non-executive director.

The China-born Australian entrepreneur holds a variety of global interests in property, mining and finance, and currently serves as chairman of PAN Australia Fund Management Pty Ltd (PAFM), a prominent fund manager.

Additionally, Wei established the Top Pacific Group in Sydney in 1994. This conglomerate engages in diverse sectors including property development, construction, real estate sales, building and strata management, and mortgage brokerage.

Under Wei's leadership, the Top Pacific Group developed several residential property projects, amassing a total turnover exceeding A$3 billion.

AuKing will draw on Wei’s experience, particularly his extensive networks.

"The board of AuKing is very pleased to have secured the services of Mr Wei as a non-executive director,” AuKing chairman Asimwe Kabunga said.

“Mr Wei has an extensive business and investment network both in Australia and overseas and has a clear focus on generating substantial shareholder returns. We expect Mr Wei’s appointment will make an important impact on the company.”

Spearheading equity investment projects

In 2019, Wei became the primary shareholder and managing director of PAFM, formerly known as Boill Fund Management Pty Ltd.

He has spearheaded multiple successful equity investment projects in China and Australia, producing substantial returns and played a crucial role in assisting Jatenergy (now Jatcorp Ltd) to raise $15 million for its acquisition of a controlling interest in the renowned Australian dairy company, Australian National Milk Association (ANMA).

Wei has invested in numerous leading ASX-listed companies within the fast-moving goods and mining sectors in Australia, yielding significant returns as a major shareholder.
