Canada Silver Cobalt Works Pres and COO Matt Halliday joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company plans to apply for a recovery permit to the government of Ontario. The company made the move after a change in the Ontario Legislature which has approved Bill 71 containing potential changes to the Ontario Mining Act which changes regulations of the recovery permit. The changes are aimed at speeding up of the resumption of mining for silver and critical metals in what was once a prime mining area for silver and cobalt in Canada. Halliday also told Proactive the company has a number of potential sites including the Beaver and Castle Mine tailings. Halliday also told Proactive more about stripping which has begun at the Castle East to follow up on shallow gold and silver mineralization.
