Me Group PLC, formerly Photo-Me International PLC (AIM:PHTM), has revised up its revenue and profit guidance for the current year following robust results in the first half.
The upgrade sent its shares 8.14% higher to 148.80p in early trade on Thursday.
The company, which operates, sells and services instant-service vending equipment such as photobooths, printing kiosks, launderettes and food vending machines, said revenue surged over 24% and pre-tax profit soared 35% in the six months to 31 April 2022, with all key businesses and markets performing strongly.
The photobooth division, Photo.ME, saw interim revenue rise 25% compared with the same period last year, while the laundry operation Wash.ME reported revenue up 36%.
At the Print.ME business, which operates primarily in France, revenue grew by 11%.
Following the strong first-half performance, Me Group said it has increased its forecasts for the full year to revenue of £300-320mln, EBITDA of £100-110mln and profit before tax of £64-67mln.
