Faraday Future launches 'limited edition' EV for US$309,000

The American start-up also launched a more accessible FF 91 2.0 Futurist, also open for pre-order but without any price details.

The car's launch coincides with the group’s release of ‘FF aiHypercar+’ a subscription-based service that provides drivers with software, internet, and AI to complement their driving experience.

Last year, fears began surfacing about whether the car company would be able to deliver the EVs on time.

However, the group announced production had begun in its California factory in March calming some fears.

Investors still appear concerned about the carmaker; shares are down 97% since it was listed in September 2020.

This year,2023, looks to be getting better for Faraday, by February shares were up 260% in the year-to-date.

Unfortunately for investors who bought the stock on its up, the shares dropped back 77% in the period between February and May.
