Melbana Energy Ltd (ASX:MAY, OTC:MEOAF) executive chairman Andrew Purcell speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive on his way to Cuba, where Melbana is currently mobilising a rig to explore an opportunity at the Varadero onshore oil field.
Purcell says that a two-well appraisal program should begin "before the end of June" with a view to getting the oil into the market "as quickly as possible."
He also gives an overview of the business, which also has assets in Australia.
