Wishbone Gold lands govt funding for Cottesloe in Western Australia

Wishbone Gold PLC (AIM:WSBN, AQSE:WSBN) has got the go-ahead from the government for a co-funded drill programme at the Cottesloe project in Western Australia.

The planned drill programme will be part of a flagship Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) which Wishbone highlighted had comprised a competitive application process for a 50% contribution from the government of Western Australia to advance innovative exploration drilling projects.

Wishbone, in a statement, told investors that it had been granted a contribution of A$220,000 for its highly prospective programme at Cottesloe.

“This is a major contribution to our planned program for Cottesloe and we are proud to have been selected for this important grant,” the company said.

“Drilling will take place later this year targeting the mineralised zones as set out in previous announcements.”
