Wishbone Gold PLC (AIM:WSBN, AQSE:WSBN) told investors it has now identified eight priority exploration targets at the Cottesloe project, in the Paterson Range in Western Australia, through analysis of data from a MobileMT airborne electromagnetic survey.
The targets are seen some 400 metres below surface, it noted.
Additional data capture will now take place – a gravity survey and 3D Inversion of aeromagnetic data – which is expected to assist in the refinement of its targets.
Separately, a heritage survery will shortly get underway as a precursor to a planned drill programme on the identified targets and the surrounding areas.
"Historic drill and exploration data we released last month sits mostly outside and peripheral to the new MobileMT anomalies thus this further increases the prospectivity of this precious and base metal project,” Wishbone chair Richard Poulden said in a statement.
“The next work programme will refine drill targets and the requisite heritage surveys. This forms the basis for an exciting 2023 field season."
