Atrato Capital believes food price inflation "may well have peaked"

Atrato Capital chief investment officer Steven Noble spoke to Thomas Warner from Proactive about the effect inflation is having on UK grocery prices and on the economics of the highly competitive supermarket sector.

Noble explains the main factors driving the increase in food prices over the last year, before going on to suggest that inflation in food prices "may well have peaked."

He adds that he does expect to see higher market rental growth in supermarket lease rates. Atrato serves as the investment advisor for the Supermarket Income REIT PLC (LSE:SUPR, OTC:SUPIF)
