Advanced Material Development said it had presented its ‘CHAM-NIR’ technology at the recent International Special Operations Forces Week (ISOF) event in Nevada.
CHAM-NIR technology modulates the reflectivity of materials in the Near Infra-Red frequency for camouflage and ‘Identification Friend or Foe’ applications, AMD said.
An independent survey at the event suggested that participants at the event were mostly satisfied that AMD’s technology “meets a requirement” and “should be reviewed for acquisition”.
ISOF 2023 was a week-long annual event where 106 organisations exhibited applications and technologies.
Richard Lee, AMD’s chief commercial officer, said "It was a privilege to present alongside other companies at the forefront of technology and to exhibit our NIR signature management system to both technologists and operators.
“AMD’s invitation to this prestigious event, confirms that our innovations can provide next-generation solutions for critical challenges."
AMD said it also be exhibiting at DSEI 2023 in September where it will showcase CHAM-NIR and other nanotechnologies.
