GR Silver Mining reports successful results from first two step-out drilling efforts at Plomosas

GR Silver Mining Ltd (TSX-V:GRSL) has reported successful results from its first two step-out drilling efforts outside the resource estimate boundary at the Plomosas Project in Sinaloa, Mexico, with the highlight being 11.1 metres (m) at 584 grams per ton (g/t) silver (Ag) including 0.2m at 14,365 g/t Ag.

The drilling program aims to extend the SE Area discovery silver mineralization style and identify the commonly mineralized contact zone at shallow depths. The initial holes, SMS23-01 and SMS23-02, were drilled 50 meters to the southeast and yielded positive results.

Commenting on the results, GR Silver Mining's chair and CEO, Eric Zaunscherb, said: "The conversion of surface silver geochemical anomalies into confirmed bonanza-grade drill intersections validates the effectiveness of our geological model. Our confidence in the prospectivity of the southeast extension grows, as does our excitement for new drill targets being generated."

GR Silver said it conducted extensive surface exploration and studies along the southeastern extension of the target contact zone, which included mapping, geochemical sampling, and integration of geophysical data. These efforts revealed wide silver mineralized zones and high-grade silver structures, confirming the potential for resource expansion in the San Marcial Area.

Pending board approval, the company plans to proceed with a 12,500-meter drill program. Five drill holes are scheduled to be completed by June 2023, with all assays received by August 2023. The target contact zone will remain the focus of the surface exploration program in the upcoming months.

The Plomosas Project, situated in southern Sinaloa, is an emerging high-grade silver district. The project benefits from existing infrastructure, road access, and permits from past-producing mining sites. GR Silver Mining controls two past producer precious metal mines and holds a portfolio of exploration targets within the expanded Plomosas Project, totaling over 75 kilometers in strike length.

GR Silver Mining, a Canadian-based company, is dedicated to cost-effective silver-gold resource expansion in Mexico. With its 100%-owned assets in the Rosario Mining District, the company aims to unlock the full potential of its concessions.
