It looks to be a quiet end to the week in terms of the City diary, with retail sales data from the Office for National Statistics helping bulk things up.
There will be an update from an investment trust whose shares are trading at one of the largest discounts to its net asset value, though it's far from the largest.
Shares in HarbourVest Global Private Equity, managed by Boston-based HarbourVest (LSE:HVPE) Partners, closed the past week at 2,185p, which is a discount of over 43% to the last published NAV of £38.52 per share.
On a dollar basis, the latest NAV of US$48.38 is actually up from the US$48.04 at the end of December and the US$47.76 at the end of July last year.
