Soma Gold Corp. (TSX-V:SOMA) CEO Javier Cordova joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has acquired a package of new exploration properties in Colombia. The new land is south of its existing Zara properties.
Cordova telling Proactive this acquisition of the Otú Centro Property is key for the company as it now allows a significant consolidation of the ground within a prolific Colombian gold belt. The acquisition allows Soma Gold to control approximately 60% of a 100-kilometer-long mineralized stretch in a highly productive area. Previous work on the properties has revealed significant diamond drill hole results, encouraging further exploration. Soma Gold plans to follow the identified trendline while conducting geophysics to gain a better understanding of the area.
