enCore Energy Corp (TSX-V:EU, NYSE-A:EU) told investors it has been added to the preliminary list of the Russell 3000 Index, for inclusion after the US market opens on June 26, 2023.
The company said membership in the Russell 3000 Index results in automatic inclusion in the large-cap Russell 1000 Index or small-cap Russell 2000 Index as well as the appropriate growth and value style indexes.
"enCore's acceptance on the Russell 3000 Index reflects our continued efforts to gain a greater awareness and presence within the US financial community and the NYSE-American,” the company’s executive chairman William Sheriff said in a statement.
“The Russell indexes are widely followed by the investment community providing enCore with the opportunity to expand our access to the largest capital market in the world.”
enCore noted that Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for active investment strategies.
FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings and style attributes.
