4GLOBAL PLC (AIM:4GBL) announced it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the fitness equipment giant Technogym that it says is a "multi-million pound opportunity" to work with their existing and mutual clients to enhance their data insight solutions.
Under the deal, the AIM-listed company will provide a bespoke 'fitness dashboard', which it said will allow gyms and leisure centres "greater focus to understand the needs and interests of its members" who are using Technogym's Mywellness app.
Covering the UK initially, the agreement aims to provide a greater understanding of the impact and social value generated by customers using Mywellness inside and outside their gyms, as well as further insight for Technogym on the impact of its products.
Eloy Mazon, 4GLOBAL's chief executive, said the partnership "will make it easier for customers in the UK to have access to our world leading products and data providing them invaluable insights about their business and their customers".
He noted that Technogym already is a pioneer in using data to increase productivity for gym operators and improving fitness for customers and said "our two companies are a natural fit to further our understanding of how to encourage more people to be physically active".
