Landore Resources unveils significant changes to its board and management

Landore Resources Ltd (AIM:LND, OTC:LNDLF) has announced significant changes to its board of directors and management, which see both a new chairman and a new chief executive officer (CEO) appointed.

The company said Charles Wilkinson, its non-executive chairman, has announced his retirement and will not seek re-election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for 29 June 2023.

Upon conclusion of the AGM, Huw Salter, a current non-executive director of Landore, will assume the role of non-executive chairman of the company.

Meanwhile, the company's CEO, Bill Humphries, has also expressed his intention to retire. He will not be standing for re-election as a director at the AGM, and will step down from his positions as CEO of the company and chairman/president of the company's subsidiary, Landore Resources Canada Inc (LRC).

Landore said it is currently engaged in advanced discussions with a potential replacement candidate for the CEO position. If these discussions are not finalised by the AGM, Glenn Featherby, the company's current chief financial officer, will temporarily assume the role of interim CEO until a permanent replacement is confirmed.

The company added that Michele Tuomi, currently a director and vice president Exploration for LRC, will take on the role of CEO of LRC starting from 1 June 2023. She has been working with LRC since 2005, primarily focusing on the development of Landore's flagship property, Junior Lake.

Landore Resources said these changes reflect the company's commitment to ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining its operational effectiveness.

The company plans to continue to drive forward its exploration and development efforts under new leadership, with a strong focus on its flagship Junior Lake property.
