Marvel Discovery CEO sees similarities between its KLR project and Nexgen's Arrow deposit

Marvel Discovery Corp has announced the successful completion of its first diamond drill program at the KLR Uranium Project in northern Saskatchewan.

The program aimed to follow up on two target zones: the DD Zone and the Highway Zone. The DD Zone yielded the highest result, with one hole showing uranium grading of 841 parts per million (ppm) uranium (U3O8) over 1.07 metres (m).

The program verified historical results and confirmed the presence of surface radioactivity at depth, Marvel said in a statement.

The radioactive mineralization appears to be in the form of vertical shoots, intensifying with depth.

CEO Karim Rayani compared the results with another famous deposit in the region.

“We are extremely pleased with the results of this program, which are comparable, if not better, to results of the shorthole programs conducted over Nexgen's Arrow deposit, where ore grades were generally encountered at depths exceeding 450m,” the CEO said in a statement.

“At KLR, these early results suggest that we may be at the top of a larger system in the most fertile uranium corridor in the world."

Marvel plans to analyze the drill data in conjunction with geophysical datasets for designing a Phase 2 drilling program to investigate mineralization at greater depths. A total of 306 core samples were delivered for analysis.
