Sidus Space Inc (NASDAQ:SIDU) revealed that it has executed a major service agreement with ground station network operator Leaf Space, which will result in over 5,000 additional monthly ground station passes.
Leaf Space operates a globally distributed network of ground stations, empowering satellite operators to communicate with their spacecraft in a flexible way. Founded in 2014, with offices in Italy and the US, Leaf Space has supported over 100 satellites on its network.
Cape Canaveral, Florida-based Sidus Space noted that its agreement with Leaf broadens its ground station network, extending the availability of its Earth Observation (EO) data to both established and emerging markets.
Most importantly, Leaf Space enables payload data transmissions through a simple user interface, a proprietary autonomous scheduling software, and network global coverage. Therefore, Leaf’s autonomous scheduler technology will allow Sidus Space to provide even more optimized and scalable solutions to meet the needs of its own growing customer base.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sidus Space will gain increased access to Leaf Space’s ground station network. Sidus will now be able to access 17 additional global ground stations, with 13 locations across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, reducing latency and improving the overall quality of its service.
In addition to Leaf Space, Sidus has coverage and infrastructure agreements with Kongsberg Satellite (KSAT), and Atlas Space Operations.

Sidus Space operates from a 35,000-square-foot manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing facility on the Space Coast.
