Victory Battery Metals Corp (CSE:VR, OTC:VRCFF) has announced the completion of its initial magnetic (mag) survey on its recently expanded Tahlo Lake Property in British Columbia's Babine Copper-Gold Porphyry District.
The property, located 8 kilometres northwest of American Eagle Gold's NAK Property, has shown promising results and the company's exploration team conducted the mag survey to gain a better understanding of the property's geology and structure.
The survey revealed that the historic copper (Cu) soil anomaly coincides with one of the linear magnetic highs, confirming the presence of the Northwest striking Morrison Fault west of the copper anomaly.
The findings have sparked interest among the team, who will now focus on assessing the relationship between the coincident Cu in soil and mag-high features and mineralization related to the Babine Igneous suite's biotite feldspar porphyry (BFP).
"Our Exploration team has initiated this initial mag survey to gain a better understanding of the geology and structure of the property," said Mark Ireton, Victory President and CEO in a statement.
"The team has found it very interesting that the historic Cu in soil anomaly overlies one of the linear mag highs and has confirmed that the Northwest striking Morrison Fault is clearly shown by the mag survey and runs immediately west of the aforementioned copper anomaly," he added.
The mag survey was conducted using state-of-the-art geophysical instrumentation attached directly to a helicopter, which allowed for improved resolution and reduced data corrections. Geosoft algorithms and mapping software were employed to analyze the geophysical data and prepare maps of the survey area's geomagnetic properties.
The Tahlo Lake Property spans 1,688 hectares within the Babine Copper-Gold Porphyry District. Previous soil and till samples have indicated elevated Cu, zinc (Zn), and gold (Au) values in the area.
In other news, Victory Battery Metals said it has engaged the services of Xander Capital Partners for investor relations consulting services and brand awareness. The company has also signed a Media Services Agreement with TD Media for digital media, marketing strategies, and advertising. These partnerships are expected to enhance the company's presence and facilitate connections with industry partners and investors.
