In a move reflecting the fluctuating global car market, Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) has implemented modest price increases for its Model S, X, and Y electric vehicles in the United States.
The price of all variants of the upscale Model S and X cars rose by US$1,000, while the Model Y variants saw a US$250 hike. This represents a modest 0.5% to 1.1% increase from the last price adjustment.
This move marks the second time Tesla has raised the prices for these models since 19 April, following a series of price reductions earlier this year. Interestingly, the price of Tesla's most affordable car, the Model 3, has remained unaltered since the last price hike in early May.
