Globex Mining Enterprises informed shareholders that its optionee Orford Mining (TSX-V:ORM) Corporation has reported multiple gold zones in Hole 23-JE-017 on the Joutel Eagle property in Quebec, which included 1.4 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 9.9 metres.
Globex said it is pleased with the work and results to date, which demonstrates the potential of the large property.
“The continued strong results from the 2023 drill campaign on our Joutel Eagle property continue to indicate the tremendous potential value in the South Gold Zone,” Orford Mining (TSX-V:ORM) CEO David Christie said in a statement.
“The multiple thick intersections in Hole 23-JE-017 improves the continuity of gold grade and thickness across the South Gold zone,” he added.
Globex noted that Orford’s drill results received to date, both in the 2022 and preliminary 2023 results, have shown that the South Gold Zone hosts higher grade gold over wider intersections than had been reported historically.
Orford entered into an option agreement to acquire 100% of the 50 square kilometre Joutel Eagle project in late 2021.
Listed in Toronto, Frankfurt and on the OTCQX in the US, Globex Mining boasts a North American portfolio featuring mid-stage exploration, development, and royalty properties. These assets span precious metals, base metals, specialty metals, minerals, and industrial compounds.
