VR Resources strengthens three key teams as drilling kicks off in Ontario

VR Resources Ltd (TSX-V:VRR, OTCQB:VRRCF) is beefing up its board of directors, along with its management and technical team, the company announced.

“The expansion and strengthening of VR across our board, management and technical teams conveys our conviction, and commitment to execution on three separate properties and opportunities this year,” CEO Michael Gunning said in a statement. “Indeed, we feel that 2023 presents a stronger potential growth profile for our company than in any year since our IPO in 2017.”

Keith Inman, a partner in the business law group of Pushor Mitchell LLP, joins the company’s board of directors. His practice focuses on advising emerging and mid-market companies on corporate/commercial and securities law-related matters, including corporate finance and M&A transactions.

Terese Gieselman, founder and president of the corporate services company MinCo, is the company’s new corporate compliance officer. She brings 37 years of international experience with junior mining and exploration companies.

Kevin Kivi, who has over 30 years of experience in active hands-on diamond exploration, has stepped into the role of technical advisor. He has been working with VR on the drill core from our Northway project located in northern Ontario since the discovery hole was made into the kimberlite breccia pipe in November.

The moves come as drilling begins at the company’s Northway kimberlite breccia pipe and Hecla-Kilmer rare Earth elements critical metals project in northern Ontario.

VR Resources recently closed a $1.9 million financing, and the company said its goal is to translate those funds into drilling to advance the kimberlite breccia pipe discovery on its Northway property in northern Ontario, as well as its nearby REE critical metals project at Hecla-Kilmer.

Results are expected from the projects this summer.
