Sintana Energy (TSX-V:SEI, OTCQB:SEUSF) President and director Robert Bose joins Proactive to discuss the Annual Offshore Conference held in Namibia, attended by heads of exploration of super majors.
Bose highlighted the significant level of interest in the country's petroleum and natural gas sector, including the massive expansion of the conference and the announcement of TotalEnergies' plans to spend half its global exploration budget in Namibia in 2023.
He also announced that Galp has entered into a rate contract for two wells, with drilling to commence in Q4 of 2023. The rig for drilling will be in the country by early Q4, and drilling is expected to commence immediately, followed by core log and drill stem testing.
