Predictmedix Inc. (CSE:PMED, OTCQB:PMEDF) has announced the launch of its artificial intelligence (AI)-driven complete triage solution for healthcare assessments, a technology the company said has the potential to revolutionize the way hospitals manage patients care.
The company said that its technology uses AI and advanced computer vision to analyse a patient’s vital signs and provides real-time data to medical staff to help them make informed treatment decisions.
It incorporates the measurement and analysis of vital parameters, including temperature, eye redness, heart rate, respiration rate, fatigue, weight, BMI, BMR, blood pressure, heart rate variability, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, visceral fat, body fat percentage, bone mass, and alcohol and/or cannabis impairment.
The system has been initially deployed in major hospitals in Asia, where the number of daily patients often exceeds 1,000. It has been integrated into certain hospitals’ existing healthcare infrastructure to ensure minimal disruption, Predictmedix noted.
It has received an “overwhelmingly positive response,” from healthcare professionals due to its accuracy, efficiency, and ability to streamline the triage process, according to the company. Patients report satisfaction with the speed and thoroughness of the assessments, Predictmedix added.
"We believe that our triage solution has the potential to transform the way hospitals manage patient care," said Predictmedix COO Rahul Kushwah in a statement.
"By providing medical staff with real-time information about patient vital signs, we can help hospitals become more efficient and ensure that patients receive the care they need.”
Predictmedix said it expects to scale up its operations in relation to its triage technology in the near to mid-term.
“This successful introduction serves as a precursor to our larger vision of implementing our triage solution in hospitals worldwide,” Kushwah said.
Predictmedix is an emerging provider of rapid health screening and remote patient care solutions globally.
