Ark Mines Ltd (ASX:AHK) executive chairman Roger Jackson tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion that it has an advantage in the rare earths space with the recently-acquired Sandy Mitchell project in Far North Queensland, Australia.
Jackson says the sand deposit can be easily mined with low capital outlay and low environmental impact and is very scalable. The company now plans to drill the area and move the environmental team on-site to permit the project.
He also discusses the Ark's highly-prospective Gunnawarra nickel-cobalt project following RC drilling work last year.
