Shares in Aptamer Group PLC (AIM:APTA), the developer of protein binders used by drug developers, dropped 13% after the departure of its chief executive.
Dr Arron Tolley has stepped down with immediate effect and will be replaced on an interim basis by Dr Ian Gilham, who will become executive chairman, and CFO Dr Rob Quinn, who takes the reins as temporary CEO.
A search for Tolley’s replacement will start immediately.
The stock dropped 1.7p to 11.30p in early deals.
