Eden Research PLC (AIM:EDEN, OTCQB:EDNSF) CEO Sean Smith tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion a strong recovery in the European wine grape market has boosted demand for the company's plant-derived biofungicide Mevalone as farmers return to pre-pandemic levels of pesticide applications.
Smith discussed the company's result for the year to December 31, 2022, as well as the factors that are likely to support growth in 2023, including regulatory approval for products in the US and new product lines that are nearing commercialisation.
The commercial launch of products in the US presents a substantial opportunity, he added.
