Zoglo’s Food Corp, a plant-based food company, revealed that later this month it will move its distribution network to Altra Foods.
The pioneering plant-based food company said that the shift would take effect on May 15, 2023.
According to Markham, Ontario-based Zoglo’s Altra Foods is a full-service food distributor with complete inventory and multi-temperature storage facilities in Montreal and Toronto.
In addition, Altra Foods also has a strong national footprint, reaching from Atlantic Provinces to British Columbia, supporting Canadian grocery stores and specialty food distribution networks. Th company has experienced salespeople spread across the country.
"We are proud of everything we've accomplished and look forward to carrying the momentum we've built into national grocery expansion with Altra Foods," said Zoglo’s CEO Val Jedras.
"The new business venture with Altra Foods will assist Zoglo's in the next growth phase."
In the meantime, Zoglo's trading symbol on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange has changed to "KX9."
Since 1987, Zoglo’s has been using its advanced technology to perfect plant-based food. In fact, the company has been ahead of the curve when it comes to the mainstream plant-based food upswell.
The company's subsidiary Zoglo's Food Inc currently offers 14 products through its Traditional Green Box product line. It also aims to offer 12 innovative products through its new Zoglo's Black Box product line. Zoglo's products have been distributed in over 3,000 retail stores across Canada and have reached the US and Europe.
