Globex Mining Enterprises Inc announced that Emperor Metals Inc (CSE:AUOZ) has selected drill targets at the Duquesne West gold property in Quebec, which is 50% owned by Globex.
Globex said it is pleased with the rapid advancement of the planned drill program and looks forward to Emperor expanding the resource base, which currently stands at 727,000 gold ounces (cut).
“In addition to obtaining the previously announced land use permit and securing a reliable drilling contractor, we have accomplished a significant milestone by completing the first-ever AI 3D geological model for Duquesne West, a breakthrough that has enabled us to accurately identify and finalize preliminary targets for our upcoming drilling campaign,” Emperor Metals said in a statement.
Emperor noted the 7,000 metre (m) to 10,000m drill program will begin around mid-May this year.
The Duquesne West property straddles the prolific Destor Porcupine gold localizing fault structure on which numerous gold deposits are located both in Quebec and Ontario, according to Globex.
Listed in Toronto, Frankfurt and on the OTCQX in the US, Globex Mining boasts a North American portfolio featuring mid-stage exploration, development, and royalty properties. These assets span precious metals, base metals, specialty metals, minerals, and industrial compounds.
