WhiteOak Capital Group founder Prashant Khemka speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive after successfully listing the Ashoka WhiteOak Emerging Markets Trust PLC (LSE:AWEM) on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
The trust invests in emerging markets, with the aim of delivering long-term, sustained capital appreciation and outperforming the peer group in delivering superior returns to investors.
The fund has already raised £30.5 million and will invest predominantly in listed public equities in emerging markets or companies that are exposed predominantly to emerging markets.
