Orosur Mining Inc (AIM:OMI, TSX-V:OMI) shares plummeted over 28% on Thursday following the release of today’s operational update.
Investors appeared concerned over the progress of the Anzá Project in Colombia.
Colombian company Minera Monte Águila has advised Orosur that it has reduced exploration expenditures on the Project and effectively placed it in care and maintenance.
Orosur expects that MMA will continue to focus on protecting the asset and maintaining positive relationships with local community groups while it explores options regarding its involvement in the Project.
At the time of writing, shares were changing hands at 4.88p.
